Julianne Michelle Reeves Stroh, LMSW

Julianne has worked as an actress most of her life and has served many charitable causes through donating her oil portraits, time, and resources, as well as chairing and organizing numerous fundraising events. She graduated Columbia University with an MSW, specializing in clinical social work, to better understand her humanitarian efforts from a clinical standpoint. Julianne currently holds her LMSW and has applied many of the skills she learned to her work at Mommy's Heart. Julianne’s personal harrowing experience in the family court compelled her to establish her own foundation to help other parents survive the process with resources that were never available to her when she was trying to navigate this very daunting and sordid court system. Julianne wants to share with others what she learned and acquired through many trials and errors.

Julianne is a proud mother of two children, a daughter and a son.

Director of Mental Health

Lorraine Silvetz, MSW

Lorraine is a trained Psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree of Social Work from New York University specializing in the treatment of returning veterans suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD) and suicidal ideation.

Lorraine collaborated with the Departments of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center in research and treatment related to traumatic brain injury (TBI), Post traumatic stress (PTSD) and suicide impacting military members and their families. She also served as Mental Health Editor launching several series for Exceptional Parent (EP) Magazine, a 40-year-old award winning disability magazine.

Her PTSD/TBI series inspired her to found the program, Global Stress Initiative (GSI), under the auspices of the International Committee Against Mental Illness (ICAMI) to research and provide non-invasive treatments for military members and their families. GSI promotes alternative techniques for the alleviation of stress including the innovative protocol individualized transcranial magnetic stimulation (iTMS).

GSI launched a series of awareness and fundraisers to educate the public on several non-invasive techniques including cranial stimulation by Fisher Wallace Labs and Transcendental Meditation (TM) taught by the David Lynch Foundation. Lorraine created a partnership with the acclaimed Hollywood Director David Lynch’s Foundation in advocacy and helped introduce TM into the United Nations. Earning a film degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts helped contribute to her creative approach to advocacy in the world of mental health.

Most recently, Global Stress Initiative was awarded $100,000 from the Diana Davis Spencer foundation for the treatment of 75 veterans impacted by PTSD at their clinic, iSynchrony. In the past, Lorraine served as co-Director at iSynchrony Clinic, with her husband, Robert Silvetz MD, in Oakton, Virginia The clinic offered individualized transcranial magnetic stimulation (iTMS) for the treatment of PTSD, TBI, chemobrain, autism, insomnia, addiction depression among other disorders.

Lorraine and her husband introduced the treatment modality to the northeast in 2019. GSI is focused on treating service members/veterans. domestic violence and human trafficking survivors impacted by PTSD and TBI. She and several of supporters of GSI's initiatives, including 3 Time Emmy Winning Anchor, Rita Cosby, philanthropist/entrepreneur, Mitzi Perdue, Medical Director of ICAMI-GSI, Robert Cancro, MD and she received Congressional Awards, in 2011, from Congressman Townes for their efforts to provide treatment for service members and veterans with PTSD and TBI.

Treasurer

Craig Herskowitz, JD

Craig began his legal career in Washington, DC at the headquarters of two federal law enforcement agencies, the United States Marshals Service (USMS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Craig then served in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. In the Narcotic and Dangerous Drug Section of the Department of Justice, Craig assisted in the successful prosecution of large scale drug traffickers and conducted financial investigations of leaders of terrorist organizations. In the Asset Forfeiture Money Laundering Section of the Department of Justice, Craig played an integral role in helping victims of financial crimes recover some of their losses, including victims in the Bernie Madoff scandal.

These years of experience working on the Government side informed him how prosecutors operate, which has helped him become a top rated criminal defense attorney that he is today. Craig skillfully represents those accused of crimes with individual attention, respect, and a well thought out strategy to beat the case or negotiate for the most favorable outcome.

Craig also has experience in state government where he served as Assistant Counsel to the Governor during the Covid pandemic, helping New Yorkers during a very difficult time. Craig takes tremendous pride in helping people, especially those accused of crimes by the government.

Richard Rossi, JD

Mr. Rossi is a highly accomplished international finance attorney and political advisor with over 30 years of experience serving publicly traded and private clients as a general and special counsel. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries and has provided counsel to CEOs, board of directors, families, and political figures on strategies, solutions, and threat management. Mr. Rossi has extensive domestic and overseas experience and has worked with associates as to regulators, foreign places and administrations, and the White House. Mr. Rossi has also been involved in U.S. Presidential campaigns. In addition to his legal work, Mr. Rossi is a principal of CapitalKeys.com, a highly-regarded bi-partisan public affairs firm in Washington, D.C. The firm helps clients navigate financial, international, legislative and regulatory hurdles through powerful strategies working with resources overseas and in and around Washington, D.C.

Mr. Rossi joined Mommy's Heart because he is passionate about protecting the rights of parents and children who have suffered from domestic violence and are now facing legal challenges. As a seasoned attorney who has witnessed the detrimental effects family law proceedings can have on families, he believes he can bring his expertise and advocacy skills to help Mommy’s Heart achieve its mission of providing or getting access to free legal or supportive related representation and mental health services to those in need.

Secretary

Justin Alexander

Justin is a business and technology leader with over 20 years of global experience.  He has transformed many pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies’ ways of doing business through people, process and technology improvements.  Justin is a graduate of Penn Engineering, the Wharton School, and is a Moore Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.  He currently lives in Montgomery County with his family.  He currently serves on the Board of the Take The Lead Dance Project in Philadelphia, and has previously served on the board of the Stamford Public Education Foundation in Stamford, Connecticut.

Natalia Gourari, JD

Natalia Gourari is the managing partner of her own law firm, with more than 22 years of experience in complex matrimonial and commercial law. She has recently expanded her practice to include surrogacy and probate work. Uniformly respected in the field, Natalia Gourari has served as co-counsel and trial counsel to many medium sized to large law firms. A lawyer with a multicultural European, Russian, and American background, she will stay the course. Her degree in economics and prior experience in corporate law with Debevoise & Plimpton provide a level of knowledge into corporate and financial matters that levels the playing field from the start in high-net-worth cases. Ms. Gourari has extensive trial experience and specializes in all areas of  FamilyLaw. Her knowledge and flexibility help settle cases, but when all else fails, she knows how to win a trial. Ms. Gourari received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in Economics where she graduated magna cum laude and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the prestigious Cardozo School of Law where she received merit scholarships. Ms. Gourari is a member of the bars in New York and New Jersey and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She shares her vast legal experience on cutting edge legal matters as a lecturer at numerous institutions for CLE credit. Ms. Gourari also serves on the executive committee of the New York Bar Association Family Law Section.
